Then Rang the Bells
Conflict, brokenness, and pain seem to be everywhere - in the world, in relationships, in homes, in hearts, and even the Church. This is why I am so grateful that our peace is not dependent on sinful man or shifting circumstances.
Jesus, perfect and constant, is our peace through it all. He sees, knows, is present, is ever-working, and is always faithful.
"And in despair I bowed my head
'There is no peace on Earth,' I said
For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on Earth, good will to men
Then rang the bells more loud and deep
God is not dead, nor doth He sleep
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on Earth, good will to men."
