All I Want for Christmas…
*Please note: With an awareness of my family’s safety and privacy, I do not refer to our children by name on this public blog or its Facebook page. They are being referred as Spock, Stitch, and Jack-Jack (listed by birth order from oldest to youngest). Though I may post pictures, I intentionally keep their faces hidden. Family and friends, please help me keep their privacy by refraining from using their real names in comments. Thank you for understanding!
So, it’s not Christmas, but guess who lost his other front tooth!
He wiggled it to no end. One side was hanging out but there was one corner that was holding on for dear life.
Spock would let Eric and I wiggle it (“but don’t pull it”) and then want us to stop.
“Maybe we should wait for Papa to pull it.”
Well, Papa is an expert tooth puller.
Spock allowed Eric to wiggle it and – finally – out it came! Rejoicing soon commenced and he couldn’t wait to call his grandparents!
Here is the letter he wrote to the tooth fairy:
“Dear Tooth Fairy,
I was a little nervous to pull my tooth out. Well, Daddy pulled it out. I let him. It’s very hard to talk! I was surprised how much blood was in my tooth! Stitch was watching Daddy pull my tooth. I called people to tell them that my tooth was out. Tonight I will wash the blood out of the tooth. I hope you come tonight. I hope I get $100 because it was a very stubborn tooth. No wonder it was hard for Daddy to pull it! I just really, really want $100.”
Well, I can tell you that his tooth fairy is not going to leave $100 dollars under his pillow, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he finds a few dollars! ;)
